Callahan scored two hat
tricks on the weekend with six two-point goals. His first trio of goals
came against the California Cougars on Friday, January 4 at Compuware Arena.
The second hat trick came in the Ignition’s 21-12 victory over the New Jersey
Ironmen on Saturday, January 5. Callahan’s offensive attack on Saturday
gave the club momentum to come back from a two-point deficit and overtake the
Ironmen to retain their share of first place. Callahan also posted six blocks in
a 10-4 victory over Milwaukee on New Year’s Eve and added a block
on the weekend against the Ironmen for seven total blocks over the three
contests.
