saved 15 of 17 shots faced against his former team, the Chicago Storm on Friday
night. The Storm, who were tied with the Ignition for first place, were
held scoreless for two consecutive quarters thanks in large part to Waltman’s
stellar efforts in goal. Waltman also posted an assist on the weekend.

Ayegbusi, the
fourth-year defender from Nigeria, scored the first career goal in his 98
contests on Sunday, as the Wave defeated California, 17-9, for their sixth
consecutive road victory. Ayegbusi added one assist and two blocks in that game,
as the Wave shut out the Cougars in the second half. Ayegbusi also recorded a
block in the Wave’s 22-15 win at Monterrey.

The MISL’s three-time
scoring champ widened the gap in the race for the PUMA Scoring Championship with
seven goals and two assists in road victories over Monterrey, 22-15, and
California, 17-9. The forward scored four times and assisted on another against
La Raza and added another 3-goal hat trick with an assist against the Cougars.
Howes has 62 points and leads Dino Delevski by 12 points in his quest to
win the scoring crown for the fourth time. Howes has 24 points in his last four
games.
