WEEKLY
The weekly news
release of the Detroit Ignition
(Southfield, Mich.,
April 2, 2008)
– The Detroit Ignition (20-8) will host the first-place Milwaukee Wave
(21-7) on Friday for the club’s last regular-season home game.
The Ignition are looking to tie up the series after losing a
hard-fought battle to the Wave just last weekend. Kick-off for Friday’s
contest is at 7:35 pm (EST).
The club is dedicating the game to members of the armed and
community services – members of the Police, Fire and EMS Departments,
the Michigan State Police, the United States Army National Guard, United
States Navy and the United States Marine Corp will be in attendance.
Fans can also arrive early (6:00) to interact with police, fire and EMS
vehicles, a custom Army Humvee and the Army climbing wall in the
Compuware parking lot. The
Ignition will travel to Baltimore on Saturday to take on the third-place
Blast for Detroit’s last regular-season game.
