Michigan Bucks announce a pre-season exhibition with the Windsor Border Stars - April 22, 2008 The Michigan Bucks are proud to announce a pre-season exhibition with the Windsor Border Stars coming to Ultimate Soccer Arenas Friday, May 9th at 7:30 PM. The exhibition with the Border Stars of the Canadian Soccer League (CSL) will be the only Bucks home match before the side begins their 13th campaign in the United Soccer Leagues' (USL) Premier Development League (PDL). The Bucks are set to begin their PDL schedule against the West Virginia Chaos, Friday May 17th at 7:30PM at Ultimate Soccer Arenas. Admission is $7 for Adults and $5 for Youth.
Ignition drop game 1 to La Raza 15-11 in Mexico - April 18, 2008 The regular-season champion Detroit Ignition dropped Game 1 of the 2008 MISL Championship Series Semifinal round. The two clubs will meet again for Game 2 on Sunday, April 20 at Compuware Arena. More >>

More >> Ignition to face the expansion, La Raza de Monterrey, in semifinals - April 14, 2008 The Detroit Ignition will face the expansion La Raza de Monterrey in the semifinal round of the 2008 MISL Championship Series. The matchup was solidified after Monterrey defeated the Chicago Storm in Game 2 and the “Golden Goal” game of the quarterfinals on Sunday, April 13. The Ignition, who won the league’s regular season title, posted a 1-2 record against La Raza in the regular season. Game 1 of the two-game semifinal series will be played on Friday, April 18 at 10:45 pm (EST) Monterrey Compuware Arena. A “Golden Goal” mini-match series tie-break will be played immediately following Game 2 if necessary.

More >> MISL names Detroit's Jamar Beasley Offensive Player of the Week - March 26, 2008 Beasley scored five goals for 11 points in the Ignition’s 29-12 victory over the California Cougars on Saturday night. His first goal was an unassisted two-point tally just 17 seconds into the match. His second, third and fourth goals were all scored within two minutes in the second quarter. He tallied his fifth goal with just under a minute to play to push the Ignition’s point total to an all-time Team high of 29.
